- I think when this happens you should have something logged in the console. It happens when an error occurs in the code before the geeklet are switched to normal mode.

- I can confirm this happens on mine as well, the geeklets on the primary (menuBar) screed are fine, but the secondary screens geekLets do move around a bit.

- I'm seeing that too in Leopard (10.5.7). When I click on the geeklet at step 6, geektool helper goes out of edit mode. The workaround is to click on the Properties window before clicking on the geeklet.
