Description
GeekTool still uses around 4% of CPU, despite the fact that the internal update was raised to 0.3 seconds.

please send a description of your settings, maybe even all org.geektool.* preference files in Library/Preferences/

FWIW, I don't see this problem here. I'm running about 15 shell geeklets, and the highest CPU usage I've seen from Geektool was 1.4% (and that was running top every second). Most of the time it stays at 0%, and it very rarely goes over 0.4% or 0.5% when geeklets are being refreshed.
