Description
Whenever I make my computer sleep, ten wake it up again at some other location (i.e., connected to a different WLAN), GeekTool is totally frozen (none of the Geeklets get updated). Also, I have the GeekTool icon in the menu bar, and if I hover over it, I am getting the spinning wheel of fortune. I have not been able to recreate this error when the preferred WLAN after wakeup is the same as the one I was connected to when going to sleep. I can fix the problem by going to SystPref, and turn "Enable" off and back on again for GeekTool.
I am using GeekTool 3.0 RC5, and have seen this behavior on several machines, using both Snow Leopard and Leopard. I believe the first occurrence of the error came when I upgraded to v3 of GeekTool. Prior to v3 I used sleepwatcher

Could your provide an output of sampling done with Activity Monitor on GeekTool while this problem is visible ?
Open Activity Monitor,
Select GeekTool
Click "Sample Process"
Can you test this with the latest nightly please ?

Sorry for the belated answer, but here is the dump.
I was somehow not able to find a location from which I was allowed to download download the latest nightly, so dump is still based on GeekTool 3.0 RC5.
If you can provide a pointer for the latest release I'd love to try that one out as well -- sorry for being a moron here...

Is it systematically crashing ? Can you send me the PICT image it is trying to display ?
Maybe some kind of race condition : Where does the image come from ? is it possible two processes are trying to use it at the same time ?

Yes, this happens consistently. I only use one .pict image (the iTunes CoverArt script floating around on the internet), and the .pict file is not corrupt, so should not be trouble there. I will look more into it as I cannot remember if I have made silly changes to the script or not. Will get back to you on this as soon as I have firm evidence of where the problem lies.

If you have an easy way for me to reproduce (send me a cover art that makes GT crash, I'll debug that quickly and release a new build

Hello again
Based on your help on understanding what is wrong I now think it cannot be GTs fault after all.
I have tried to use another iTunes coverArt script, and now I cannot make GT crash (even though the same files generated). I do not understand why my original script (found it here: http://www.leancrew.com/all-this/2007/06/album-art-with-geektool/) worked well on GT versions up to 3.0 but crashes now, but having isolated the problem and made it go away I do not really care either! GT is bach at its best ..... (Shot in the dark: Maybe it has to do with the shell script ditto commands?)
