Cant install update

Description
Geektool Update window pops up stating that I have version 3.0 (F8), and that the current version 3.0 (FC) is available, but when I try to install the update I get
Update Error!
An error occurred while installing the update. Please try again later.
I've tried about 10 times so far, on clean boot as well.
I tried searching for the downloaded install file to run it sepearately, but haven't been able to find where it gets downloaded to.

Just download a fresh version from the web page. The version you are using had issues with automatic updates
Let me know if it does not work
