Description
In Version 2 there was the ability to enlarge a graphic plucked from a web site (and have it update according to a schedule).
I load a weather map from www.weatherunderground.com It is too small and not as useful as the older large version.
Will you please add this feature back?
Thanks in advance.

The actual behavior is to only reduce the image to fit in window.
In case the window is bigger than the image, the the image is aligned according to a alignment settings (center, corner or sides of the window).
You suggest to add an option to "size to fit" the image so that it occupied the whole window, whatever the size ? That would add blur and usually not make the image more visible, IMHO.
Please people give your feeling about this.
Thank you

Hi Yann,
In version 2 enlarging the image from the weatherunderground.com had no ill effect. In fact it was easier to look at. I had it covering my whole desktop. Here is the URL I am pulling the image from:
Thanks!

You could increase the image size as much as possible without changing its height/width ratio. It's already the case when the image has to be reduced to fit in the window, so you could do just the same when the image size has to be increased. The only problem is that the user wouldn't know when the image is displayed at 100%.
Or you could duplicate the settings in the Desktop prefspane (Fill window, Fit to window, Stretch to fill window, Center, Tile). That would make everybody happy.

Yes, "Fill window, Fit to window, Stretch to fill window, Center, Tile" would be perfect. This is how GT version 2 worked (w/o tiling though).
For my needs I do not need to know if the image is at X%. I need to have the weather map large enough to be useful on my desktop.
Again, thanks.
